Who can register?

Players that will turn 7 in the current year, up to those that will turn 8 by December 31st of the calendar year.  

Player Information

Team Size: 12-16 players

Typical Playing Days:  Tuesdays & Thursdays, occasional game Sat/Sun

Floor size:  Full Floor

Gameplay:  Recreational Co-ed

Division Objectives

U9 Vision - Build upon the U7 years and continue engaging the kids in fun games that promote skill development and a love for the game, while introducing more instruction in playing a full-floor game.  The coach's goal should be that all kids re-register the following season.  Team costs shouldn't exceed the initial investment of registration unless tournaments are considered, but participation in such events is at the discretion of a team vote and not mandatory.

Many parents have questions about properly outfitting their children at this age.  We strongly recommend that lacrosse gloves are invested in but the minimum requirements can be found at the equipment page of our website.  Players will need a pair of black shorts.  Visit our marketplace from the home page for optional apparel in our online store and second hand gear postings in our classifieds.

As an association, we are hoping to see every one of these players commit to lacrosse as their spring sport.  As such, we place a priority on trying to keep friends together year after year and honor such requests as best we can.
